I agree with you. The open-source OAuth support classes available for.NET apps are hard to understand, overly complicated (how many methods are exposed by DotNetOpenAuth?), poorly designed (look at the methods with 10 string parameters in the OAuthBase.cs module from that google link you provided - there's no state management at all), or otherwise unsatisfactory. Statistics on cpprestsdk. Its rather slow and enforces usage of MS's PPL(X). Starts a pool of 40 threads on linux. Limited support for HTTPs. Physical layout of the repo is not so great. There are lots of open issues and seemingly no progress (at least not in the open-source repo on github).

I created a facebook_session_sample class, that has a following structure `class facebook_session_sample : public oauth2_session_sample { public: protected: }; but the program throws undefined exception on this string m_listener->open().wait();`This is somehow connected with redirect_uri I suppose. Please, help me fix it. |
